Biden Accused By Trump of ‘Running Gestapo Administration’ at Private Donor Retreat

(UnitedHeadlines.com) – At a private donor retreat on May 4, former President Donald Trump accused President Joe Biden of “running a Gestapo administration.”

During his 90-minute speech, Trump referred to the Biden administration’s tactics of being “a Gestapo administration,” stating, “It’s the only way they’re going to win.”

Trump repeatedly accused the Biden administration of orchestrating the four cases against him, saying that “the gloves have to come off” in terms of his respect for the office of the president, during his speech at the Palm Beach, Florida, retreat hosted by Trump’s campaign.

He complained about the New York hush money case where he is facing 34 counts of falsifying business records in relation to an alleged payment to former adult film star Stormy Daniels. On April 30, Trump was fined $9,000 by Judge Juan Merchan, who ruled he had violated a gag order that he imposed that bars Trump from commenting publicly about people involved with the case or their families. On May 6, Merchan fined Trump an additional $1,000 for another violation of the gag order.

During his speech at his Mar-a-Lago estate, Trump insisted that Democrats cheat in elections by using “welfare,” noting that the new Republican National Committee Chairman, Michael Whatley, would prevent “cheating” in November’s election.

He also criticized special counsel Jack Smith, calling him “unattractive both inside and out.”

While Trump focused his criticism on the Democrats, he also drew attention to some Republicans who were among the more than 400 people who attended the weekend retreat. Some of the Republicans mentioned during Trump’s speech are considered to be his potential vice-presidential picks, including New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.

White House spokesman Andrew Bates responded to Trump’s comments, accusing him of “fanning debunked conspiracy theories,” adding that, in contrast, Biden brings “the American people together.”
