(UnitedHeadlines.com) – Actor Mike Heslin, 30, died from a “sudden cardiac event” on July 2, according to an Instagram post from his husband, Scotty Dynamo.
According to the post, Heslin died after spending a week in the hospital, with Dynamo noting he had been healthy and “the doctors have no explanation for what happened.”
Heslin and Dynamo were married on Nov. 11, 2023, and “were in the early stages of starting a family,” according to Dynamo. Dynamo wrote that if he ever does become a father, he would “name my son after you.”
In his Instagram post featuring a variety of photos of Heslin, Dynamo said Heslin was not only “brilliant, selfless, talented” but he called him “a real-life guardian angel,” who helped guide him through his “multiple rounds of cancer.” He said Heslin turned those around “him into a better version of themselves.”
Dynamo stated that Heslin gave “the gift of life to four different families” because he was an organ donor.
The post concluded with Dynamo stating that the couple was four months away from celebrating their first wedding anniversary and three weeks away from celebrating Heslin’s birthday, along with the words, “‘I’ll love you ‘forever and for always.’”
Born in California, Heslin attended the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, earning a BFA in Directing. The actor, writer, director, and producer was a co-founder of the production house Well-Versed Entertainment.
He began acting in 2014 with a role in the Showtime series “7 Deadly Sins.” In 2020, Heslin created and starred in a scripted mockumentary “The Influencers,” streamed on Prime Video.
