Trump Vows to ‘Restore U.S. Sovereign Borders’

(UnitedHeadlines.com) – If he wins reelection in November, former President Donald Trump has promised to “restore the sovereign borders of the United States.”

Trump accused Democrats of “wheeling granny off the cliff” and giving benefits and jobs to illegal immigrants during his rally in Racine, Wisconsin. Trump has previously said that by providing “mass amnesty” to illegal immigrants, President Joe Biden is robbing senior citizens of their Social Security and Medicaid benefits.

Trump added that “the black population” and the “Hispanic population” are voting for him at historic levels because they are losing their jobs to illegal immigrants. He said he would “fight for American seniors” and not for “Biden illegals,” and fight for “the American dreamers” and “not the child smugglers and woman smugglers.” He then added he would restore the country’s sovereign borders.”

Trump’s comments come as Biden issued two executive orders regarding illegal immigrants on June 18. The first order means that 500,000 illegal immigrants who have been in the United States for 10 years and are married to an American citizen and 50,000 illegal immigrant children who have a parent married to an American citizen will be able to get green cards. The second order allows work visas to be given to the 550,000 illegal immigrants enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

Trump promised to overturn Biden’s June 18 executive orders, stating that Biden’s “amnesty plan will be ripped apart and thrown out.”

Trump’s comments about the increase in support for him and black and Hispanic voters come as polls, including an April poll conducted by Axios/Ipsos, show Biden’s support has fallen from 53 percent when he first entered office to 41 percent with the Latino community while Trump’s has increased by 8 points to 32 percent. Among black voters, an I&I/TIPP Poll from early May shows Biden’s support had decreased 28 percent, while Trump’s increased three points to 15 percent.
