It’s Too Late to Get Rid of Biden, Democrats Messed Up Badly

(UnitedHeadlines.com) – Billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman is speaking out, saying the Democrats made a big mistake by supporting a second term for President Joe Biden.

In a post on Twitter, Ackman said the Democrats’ support of Biden has stopped “better and younger candidates” from running.

In his April 29 post, the founder and CEO of Pershing Square Capital Management wrote that by supporting a second term for Biden, Democrats have given Biden “false confidence that he can win the race.”

He added that polls “increasingly indicate” former President Donald Trump winning “by a large margin.” Ackman added that “it is now likely too late” for Democrats to find another candidate. He noted that he believes the polls that show Trump winning are underestimating his support since “many are not willing to admit” they will vote for Trump.

Ackman stated that Biden’s legacy will be “handing the election to Trump.”

In an April 25 post on Twitter, Ackman ruled out voting for Biden, writing that for anyone unsure of where he stands, “I am not voting for Biden.” When asked, he said, “I am open to voting for [Donald Trump],” noting he would share who he is voting for “when I make my decision closer to the election.” He has admitted in a separate post that, in 2016, he voted for Trump.

This is not the first time Ackman has criticized Biden and his decision to run for a second term. In a January post on Twitter, he called Biden serving a second term “dangerous and absurd,” adding that there needs to be “strength and leadership in the White House.” In February, Ackman called Biden “embarrassing,” adding “the worst of his legacy is his ego that prevents him from stepping aside.” Ackman has repeatedly urged the Democrats to move away from Biden and donated $1 million to a political action committee that supports his challenger, Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips, 54.
