The “General Hospital” star’s autopsy report showed that he died Sept. 15 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Miller was found in his bathtub at his home in Austin, Texas, “with an apparent gunshot wound to the head,” according to the Travis County Medical Examiner’s report. “A revolver chambered for .410 shotgun shells” was found in his right hand.

The report states that he had alcohol in his system, with a blood alcohol level of 0.08. He also had drugs, including cocaine, in his system when he died.

Multiple letters that indicated Miller’s intent to commit suicide were found by first responders. Letters with instructions for others were also discovered at the scene.
