Sean Hannity Wants Liz Cheney's Private Messages Released

(UnitedHeadlines.com) – In the January 6 Committee’s quest to find answers regarding the events at the Capitol, it seems as though they’ve left nothing off the table — not even disrespecting someone’s privacy. Sean Hannity, the host of the Fox News broadcast “Hannity,” expressed his frustration during his show on December 14. Honestly, he has every right to be angry.

During the committee’s hearing on December 13, Liz Cheney released private messages between Hannity and Mark Meadows, former White House Chief of Staff under President Trump. The daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney didn’t stop there; she also made public messages from several individuals including other Fox News employees.

Hannity asserts that Cheney should have to release her private messages as well since she’s so keen to release other people’s conversations. Specifically, Hannity demands Cheney release the private messages from her entire family begging then-President Trump to pardon Scooter Libby. Libby was chief of staff under Dick Cheney and convicted of perjury in 2007.

Hannity is understandably upset, but it may not be over the messages themselves. The fact that the government is openly trampling the rights of its citizens, himself included, is likely to blame as well. Cheney’s actions were a complete invasion of privacy. She never should have released the private communication between members of the federal government or private citizens. Do you agree?
