RNC Launches Biden Fact-Checking Website

(UnitedHeadlines.com) – The Republican National Committee has launched a fact-checking website that will fact-check President Joe Biden in real time. The site launched April 24.

The website will be factcheckbiden.com, and the RNC hopes to make the site the president’s least favorite, holding Biden accountable for his lies, according to the RNC. During campaign and official events, Biden’s remarks will be monitored. The website will operate as part of the RNC Research and Rapid Response.

In a statement, Ronna McDaniel, the chairwoman of the RNC, said that Biden has lied about what he has done to the country and gave examples such as saying the southern border is secure and that the Afghanistan withdrawal was successful. She also stated that Biden will be held “accountable by the American people November 2024.”

Remarks Biden has made which the RNC has marked as examples of fake stories are currently featured on the website.

On the website, an example currently posted is from an Ebenezer Baptist Church event where Biden made remarks describing himself as a “22-year-old kid on the east side in the civil rights movement.” The website shows fact checks which debunk Biden being part of the civil rights movement. Biden did participate in civil rights activities such as one walkout.

Another example posted on the website is a pledge Biden made to not increase taxes for anyone earning less than $400,000. The site cites an assessment from the Joint Committee on Taxation which suggests that “at least half of all new tax revenue” would be from those who make less than $400,000 through Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act.

Biden, the front runner for the Democrats, announced April 25 that he is running for reelection in 2024. The date marks the four-year anniversary of the launch of his 2020 campaign. The current front runner for the Republicans is former President Donald Trump.
